Herbie's comin!!!

Disney is releasing a new Herbie movie this summer. It's called Herbie Fully Loaded. I think it would be cool if VWs across the world go to their local drive-in and watch this flick on the same night and take pictures and we set up a page or send them to Disney or do something cool with them. I haven't been to a drive-in in ages! I can't imagine a better time at one than seein Herbie win Daytona with 50 other VW fanatics taking up the first 3 rows.

It was scheduled for release Aug. 2nd 2005.

Disney has moved the release date up.

It's June 3rd now.

Now I know it may conflict with shows and I need some help setting this thing up. If there is a weekend show this could be a great pre or post show event.

Pheonix has 15 screens and Tucson has 1. I talked to the Tucson guys and if I can get 30+ cars their distributors in Cali will send us the film. I can also get local news coverage as 30 people in Tucson doing anything at the same time is a big deal down here.

Is there anyone out here who would be willing to help me get this event on the map? It's not hugely formal...I just thought it would be cool.

It's an event the entire family can enjoy.

Busses in back please!!

Thoughts?

Event names?
