Worst Luck Ever!!!
Long story but read if your bored. ENJOY
I'm not sure if anyone has had more bad luck with a car ever. I have a 93 Honda Civic EX. It all started last sunday Dec. 26. I bought a set of Skunk 2 coilovers and a set of KYB adjustable shocks, and i got like interior stuff such as a shift knob e-brake handle, and i got some gauge faces. They are a set of Xtal gauges. I started off by putting the coilovers and struts on and it all went good until i got to the left rear tire. I was using an air ratchet to take off the bolt where the strut is attatched to the control arm and it wouldnt move with the ratchet so i got a 3 foot cheater bar and all of a sudden SNAP!!! I brote the bolt head right off. My dad and i tried to get it off without having to take the control arm off but we couldnt so we took the control arm off and soaked it with WD-40 and some other kind of desolvant and we let that soak till the next day. So after i got that out of the way i went to the other side and i find out for the first time that the left control arm is bent hard core so then we had to buy a new control arm. Luckily i know a guy who can get parts really cheap so i got the control arm for like 40 bucks. That was all day 1.
Monday the 27th comes and we finnaly drive the bolt out of the control arm and we get a new bolt from the guy i know for free. We put the bolt on and it worked. We left the bent control arm till today. After i did all that stuff i changed my oil like any other time. After that i start on my gauges and my dad is helping me so we had to cut off the old gauges completely off since the needles dont come off. We end up breaking the gas gauge the temp gague and i wound the tach so now it goes backwards. The gauges look cool but everything is broke so i had to buy a new gague cluster. Got it for like 60 bucks. Any who i put my car on the ground and we get the wiring done for the neon inside and right when i get ready to start my car i turn it on then all of a sudden i heard a noise and i saw oil pouring everywhere so i immediately turn the car off. I'm thinking i striped the oil filter or something horrible like that but what happened was the O-Ring that was on the old oil filter got stuck to the engine block so i changed the oil all over again. We set it on the ground and adjust the coilovers good then i take it for a test drive. Everything is perfect. So tuesday i didnt touch my car. On wednesday i end up getting pulled over because i forgot to turn my lights on when i left sonic. Luckily he didnt radar me cause i was probably going 55-60, because i was being stupid and i was racing a prelude, in a 35. My dad knew who the cop was though and he came over and ripped the $64 ticket. After that everything is good till last night New Years Eve i went to the bowling alley and on the way home it was about 1:15 and it was all wet. I had to turn into the entrance of my neighborhood and i downshifed into second way to soon and all the weight went to the front of the car and my tires lost traction and curbed my car. Wanted to kill my self at the time but it just got better. I took it home and the steering was OK but the plastic fender well was screwed and it was rubbing my tire. I was freaked out. So i knew i had to check my car out and i did yesterday, the first of January. Found out that i bent the shit out of my frame and while tryind to fix the shroud of the AC fan i poked a hole in the condenser and anti freeze went everywhere, so then i knew that was like another couple hundred bux. My dad saw the radiator looked tweaked so he was messing with it and he pulled ant the little clip thing that hooks it to the car pops off creating a hole in my radiator so now i cant drive my car till i get a radiator and then after that i'm going to have to take it to a body shop and get the body fixed, i'm expecting to have to pay over 600 dollars for all that shit. And i also have to get a new condenser.
I thought i would share my long as hell week.
