OK, I have some pricing for the Rancho add a leafs...$58 for the pair...I can do a little bit better if there are a bunch of you placing an order together...it will also save on shipping if they are shipped to one address.

sounds good...

Wow!...hmm, the price is lower than I expected, but that's okay I suppose .
A group buy to lower the price would be nice but I wouldn't want to wait too long -- I'm looking to install next weekend. Probably by the end of this weekend anyone who's interested will chime in.
I'm assuming this is the same part already installed by Philosopher and Synchro.
Now, if only we could get one of them to post a "How-to" with pictures .

I would like to participate in a group buy. Does the new leaf just remedy sagging of the stock springs, or does it add lift as well? Either way I would like to purchase a set. Thanks for your efforts in putting this together FSR

I just read "The Tall T Gets Taller" and answered my question -- 1.5 to 2 inches of lift. Where is FSR's site? I'm not sure if I have seen it. I eventually want to buy new torsion bars also.

My springs have 47,000 miles on them, on road and beating the crap out of them off road...they had started to sag and the swing away bumper just accelerated this. The add aleafs provided between 2.75-3" of lift to my truck, I am now about 1.5" taller than Swampwrecker and he is running 33" TSL's. They are not up on the site yet but they should be tomorrow...next week the Billstein/KYB shocks will be up as well. The site is at www.Extreme4x4Parts.com , you can e-mail me at [email protected] as well.

Thanks,
Todd

2.75 - 3" of lift? Not me. Maybe my shackles are affecting it but I certainly didn't get that much. BTW as of yesterday the measurements I listed in the "TTT Gets Taller" thread are still correct.

Yes, 2.75-3" is a bit much for me; I was looking for the 1.5-2" you mentioned 'cause up front I've just got a little bit (.75-1") of t-bar lift.
Thanks for verifying your measurements are still the same.
Also, the instructions for measuring ride heigh from the manual posted by OffroadX (the difference between the front of lower a-arm pivot bolt to ground and the steering stop bracket to ground) is VERY useful due to the fact that it seems to be independent of tire size since any heigh difference due to larger tires cancels out in the subtraction (I think this is true, but not 100% sure).
I measured mine & got about 2.75" whereas factory spec is about 1.79"-1.96" according to OffroadX's post.

No sweat.

Yep, when my tech did the alignment after I installed my t-bars he said "well, you know the caster couldn't even be checked because the truck is too high."

Mike remeber you had your stock springs replaced already, mine are the originals and I could barely get my hand between the fender lip and the rear tires before the add a leafs. Considering Swampwrecker's truck has a lot less miles than mine, no swing away bumper, etc his springs probably have not sagged much...I think close to 2" is what people will get out of the springs...not the gains I saw.
