widest tires

I have a 1988 s-10 that has been lowered with 14 inch rims and i would like to know what the widest tire i can fit on it will be. I think that 245 60r14 will fit but i am not sure

9.5 -10 would be the widest.

yep, 9.5...I have a 95 ZR2 which has 3" more lift thatn a standard 4WD s-10...biggest that will fit without rubbing in the front are 9.5" unfortunately.
