So James, what engine does this truck have in it and what shape. Is it the 2.4 or 3.0 liter and was it an auto or 5 speed?

3ltr. ,6cyl,4x4.body is great no rust no dents engine has valve smoke but runs great, just had the computer rebuilt it is under warranty good truck !!

I'm wondering if the trans from the 2.4 would bolt up to the 3.0? I have a '90 2.4 2 wheel drive that has 230,000 and runs VERY strong! I had always wanted the 3.0, because if the smaller engine runs as strong as it does I could just imagine how strong the 3.0 would be.

So where about do you live and if you had to sell the truck what would you ask for it? How many miles? What shape is it in? blah blah blah You know the drill.

Also, I have a question about the water pump on my 2.4 and was wondering if you could answer it for me. There is a post on here about it. If you can't then that's fine. Hope to hear from you later.

RU i cant answer your question about the 2.4 bolting up to a 3.0,,,my guess is probably not because you would also have too exchange wiring harnesses. But thats just a guess!!!! I went and read your post on the water pump ...sounded like you were having my typical day!! but glad ya got it fixed!! I live 40 miles east of Lexington right on I-64 at exit121 .................................................. .my truck is a looker although some one put a cheap paint job on it it still gets the attention !! It is white with aluminum rims on nice rubber. First $1000.00 will load this jewel and take it home..I'm having a crisis here with hard to find parts and volkswagons that are being a pain..
