Question Audio Troubles for me

I'm having trouble hooking up the wires to my Pioneer DEH-p3500 to my car. I bought it from a friend because his dad got in a wreck and it was hisI found 2 diff diagrams(3 actually) and im confused.

Dimmer BRN (+) RADIO HARNESS
PowerAntenna PNK (+) RADIO HARNESS
FrontLeftSpeakerPos TAN
FrontLeftSpeakerNeg GRY
FrontRightSpeakerPos LT.GRN
FrontRightSpeakerNeg DARK GREEN
RearLeftSpeakerPos BRN
RearLeftSpeakerNeg YEL
RearRightSpeakerPos DK.BLU
RearRightSpeakerNeg LT.BLU
Amp NOT LIKELY
Control Modules
======================================
Yellow- ignition switch
Orange- 12v all times
Brown- tail light dimming
Black- ground
Left front speaker- grey and tan wires
Right front- Dark green and light green
Left rear- brown and yellow
Right rear- dark blue and light blue
The front speaker wires should be on one connector, the rear speaker wires should be on another with the power wires on their own.
There are 2 black wires, both are ground
There is also a brown/white and another grey wire that are used for the adjustable dimming(dimmer switch)- I don't know if a replacement radio can use these
=======================

Im just plain up confused... I have a 92 Lumina Eurosport

Have you tried with a test lamp? i mean, if you dont really know how your wires are, try with a lamp, first identify the DC, ground and remote or ignition. Afterwards with a battery like a double AA, try to find out your speakers.... a little bit trick but it works, Good luck.

Re: Audio Troubles for me

You can go to Best Buy and get an adapter harness that will make the factory connections plug right into that unit, without trying to figure out what every wire is for. They are usually only $12-15.

Re: Audio Troubles for me

You probably know this, but make sure that unit is grounded BEFORE doing any connecting. That will protect it from damage.

Re: Audio Troubles for me

I agree with Jeff, go to best buy and buy the wiring harness. This will save you A LOT of headaches, Then, you can literally just plug in the pio to the stock harness.

Or you can go to this website, that is if you already chopped into your factory wire harness. http://www.corvetteradios.com/Page.html
