Question 94 Altima IDK

I have a friend that has a 94 Altima and everytime the temp outside gets above 85degrees the car vaporlocks and wont start. I haven't heard of this before what is vaporlock, why does the car do it, and is there a way to fix it? Does it maybe deal with the water pump or thermastat? any ideas appreciated thanx

Re: 94 Altima IDK

vapor lock is when the fuel line runs close to something that gets very hot and boils the fuel in the line, the air does not move as easy as the fuel .... now that said, vapor lock is very rare on a fuel injected car, why do you think it is vapor lock?
