Re: offroading and flooded the engine
OK guys, let me put it to you like this: A vote for Bush is a vote for the faulty radiator caps and dexcool leaking from your heatercore. A vote for Kerry is a vote for those nice little spring washers that keep your hood from clunking.

Gentlemen. Excellent work. When I saw this thread had resurfaced, I couldn't have possibly imagined the exciting drama that has continued.
Mikado14, you're an American (actually, you live near me)...Blazer LT, your Canadian...but here in the forum, that shouldn't matter because we all share a common bond...we are Blazer owners. We are forced to set aside our differences and come together to battle our adversaries. Our enemies are not each other, but that clogged heater core, shot fuel pump, or bad ground. I can't think of any other members of this board that I see sacrificing their time to assist more people in need than the two of you. I hope that you will one day bury the hatchet because, at the end of the day, you're both soliders fighting for the same side...and this crazy war of automotive problems that we call the Blazer forum would be much better fought with you united, rather than divided. God Bless |

Well put. Fight the real enemy, the penny pinching @&#$@'s at GM who saved a few cents by installing the cheapo intake manifold gasket that's gonna take me forever to fix. While I'm at it, thanks for the rotted out freeze plug on the back of the engine, I love unbuckling my tranny!!!!11 Whew. Sorry. But seriously, I thank you Mikado for your service to both my country and this board. Not many experts bother to help out n00bs like me after wrenching all stinkin' day. |

My god. If youre so worried about it running and you cant afford a new car why do you drive it through a pond? 2nd Why would you leave your car overnight there sitting in swamp? 3rd I thought me driving around for 2 days with a Check Engine Light was beyond retarded. 4th Normal Highway speeds at 90 mph? 5th I can see ignorance somewhat of people not knowing certain things, but i really cant believe you. 6th Im a firm believer in duct tape, but duct tape doesnt work at 90mph
Side Note. Finally I got my Transmission rebuilt if you remember my solenoid problem. It was an internal thing that was impossible to get at. They took it out 8 guys Totally took everything apart put new solenoids, fluid, checked gears cleaned everything out and put it back in and yes this is a 4x4 4.3l in under 2 days. Get this It was 995.83$ so this just as a side note, there are good transmission shops out there, its never run as good as it has been since i got it back. Thanks BlazerLT for your help, youre an awesome resource and your time didnt go to waste with me. |
