Clearance light removal???

I know this question was asked before, but I was hoping someone had some new info... Ok, I can now remove the driver's side clearance light in my sleep. But, the passenger side light is not cooperating with me. Does anyone out there have any ideas on how I can get this bugger out????Thanks!

The most important advice I can offer is,.. KEEP TRYING!

It takes time, but it will work.

Just get some long nosed pliers and grab a hold of that sucker and twist with force. I was successful when I stood beside the front passenger wheel, rather than standing infront of the car.

Yank off the upper spout on your washer fluid tank. You'll have more room to play.

Brian,

You don't yank the thing off. If you turn it ccw it will come loose. You can remove it easily. I found that out today while doing the re-wiring of my foglights.

Hehe... and I suppose if I had said to "rip your engine out and stand in the engine bay" you would attempt to rip out the engine w/o disassembling the motor mounts?

Sorry, I guess I didnt think someone would really "yank" it, lol... OK, unscrew the spout! There!

In the professional engineer world, you have to be very cautious at giving someone advice and if that person does what you told him to and if something goes wrong as a result of this act, you could be reliable for giving false advice. I am just being paranoid Then again, the moron that "rip your engine out and stand in the engine bay" deserves a shot in the head!!!

"Yank it out"!

B-boogie was right about yanking it out (washer cap)! At least for my 2000 P!!

I tried twisting, pulling, squeezing and even all three!

Then in a violent rage I yanked the S.O.B. out!!

After looking at it, I found you have to sort of bend it (towards the battery) and give it a yank. After that it's cake!

Hope it helps!

Professional engineer world? We aren't talking about rocket science here. It's a lightbulb....just get some pliers turn...took me less then 5 minutes to change that bulb.

Of course for the first 3 minutes I was trying to grab the dayam thing with my fingers.
