I have a borla free flow exhaust, and I don't thnk it's that loud at all. Plus my previous owner says my car is rated at 170 HP so.. I guess that might be one way to go, what kind of intake did you get, and were did you get it and how much did it cost?

No shit, I was a newbie. I'm guessing it really has about 140whp as opposed to the stock 120whp. The only engine mods that I know of are the borla stainless and hs header plus a K & N WAI. I'm not a newb anymore. I dont post here either, I post on sr20forum.

Re: 92 nx needs headers and exhaust

The best engine mod is the Nissan Motorsport higher compression piston with gapless rings that rate 200BHP after installation.

Re: 92 nx needs headers and exhaust

I built my own intake, and put a borla 2 and half inch from the axl pipe back, i built my own short shift kit, and my car dyno'd at 157hp with 149 ft lbs torque. its fast as hell. theres a bunch of mods youo can do that are cheap as hell for the sr20de, email me if youre interested and ill let you know wha they are.
