Well RazorGTR... 3 THINGS:
1) I Never said you will get more power out of an RB30 block, simply said there are people down here getting MUCH more power from their RB30 than people with modified RB26's at a fraction of the cost. I personally know a guy called Rob Ward with a 10sec GTS4, 9sec GTR, and 8sec Datsun Ute, all running RB30's. The GTS4 and the Datsun engines cost him about the same as most people spend on the usual basic performance upgrades (exhaust/induction/fmic etc). With regards to the "no oil squirters" bit, tell that to the numerous GTR and Supra owners that have been blown off the strip by Rob's cars over and over again... reliability is definitely not an issue.
2) Not many skylines in the states? uh, thats nice
3) Im am not advertising as a business (im a self employed computer tech ffs), if you were to look into the cost of rb30 shortblocks youd see there really aint much in it for me, I was just testing the waters. It seems the US really is missing out on this engine and Id love to see a RB30 powered monster GTR come out of the US, you guys seem to make some pretty quick cars. Oh well, looks like New Zealand will keep the title of "worlds fastest street GTR"... Cheers
