Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in LA?

I live in west los angeles and need to have my car tuned up. Can anyone recommend an honest mechanic/repair shop in the area who wont' rip me off ? Any info is appreciated; thanks

My friends dad Mike at the shop across the street from Vons on Pico and Fairfax. he does very good work and is very honest. Tell him Tj with the Z sent you. On the South West corner of pico and fairfax PM me and I'll get you the number.
