92 hatch, ls swap or turbo

sup guys, my friend has a 92 civic dx with a 93 ex sohc engine swap. he just swapped his motor again for a 95 integra ls motor, tranny, ecu, manifold, injectors, and axles for 2000 bucks. imo, i figured going for a turbo for 2000 bucks would have been way better and faster. so i was wondering which way would u guys go and y? thanks in advance.

i pick turbo over the ls swap. not too big of a difference between sohc vtec and b18b. turbo would be much faster and you get that nice bov sound.

i personally like the whole b18 non -vtec swap idea. i think that later on he will be able to boost the shit out of that.

Swap the ls now, and then later you can add a turbo to that.

I would get a b18b1 becuase it a bigger motor and you could do more modz on a dohc then you could on a sohc. I personaly have one on my 92 cx.

i would take a sohc vtec turbo over every swap short of an itr. the hp will be the same as say gsr swap and the torque will be substantially more- at this is at like 8 or so psi. to get more out of it- just up the boost over 10 psi(provided your motor is built/tuned)
