Question 1990 Olds still missing

We have a 1990 Olds 88 Royale/Br with 176,000 miles all the goodies, etc, has been a great car! But for the last month it started missing, (no code is set) when it is cold at first start up, it revs up then just about quits then again and again until the temp get around 150, it smooths out but still misses. I have changed the maf, egr, coil pack, idles speed sensor. fuel filter(it runs 40psi at idle the 50+when reved), its not our main vehicle but it has become a challange to fix it.
One more thing the speed o quit working , if that helps anyone with an idea on the problem.
Thanks

The miss could be as simple as plug wires, or as complex as a crank sensor. These units must be checked before replacement. It might be necessary to monitor the system, looking for obvious problems. It might also be wise to check the fuel pressure. With fuel demand being higher when cold, the stalling could be the result of the fuel pump's inability to deliver the necessary fuel. The miss warm could be the lean miss resulting from the computer's inability to deliver enough fuel when warm. Time and mileage see the likelihood of a pump, but check the pressure and the filter before proceeding. Ray
