Hi Steve,

it´s funny, but I have this baby on my list too.

It needs the "Special edition" Kit.

right iwent on a mission 2 find out about halfords flip paint while the girl friend was buy shoes or something on saturday. there not off the rack paints, ie from ford vauxhall etc, you have to get them mixed. if you go to the paint racks and look above there should be a advert for there mixing service with some flip, candy and mica examples

i then collared a member of staff for price (tuff job as any uk user will agree) he reckoned £10 for a flip can then £11 for the lacquer :O

I forgot to mention - don't bother buying the custom clearcoat cause it sucks (as i found out to my cost - 2 days drying and still tacky a
I wouldn't bother getting the black basecoat for the flip paint either cause your can use any halfords acrylic as a base.
Hopefully you can save a bit of cash.

dont go to halfords, pm jimbob and ask to buy some of his flip paints, they come pre thinned and the grains are a lot thinner looking more in scale than some of the others, just look at my smooth ass focus thread and see what just how good his paint is.

believe me it will be far better for you than a trip to halfords and you should be more happy with the results

Yes it was. I would never own a real FTO in that colour far to Max Power, it's just I have about 10 FTO kits so I tried it on one of them.
BTW : If you want to see a couple of cool FTO's see Japanese Performance Issue No 6 Sept/Oct 2000

You're right the Halford stuff have larger flakes, have to keep cleaning the airbrush ever 2 mins, maybe better in a rattle can

Sounds great. CALLING JIMBOB

Looks cool, is it the Fujimi FTO kit? If so.................. That kit has the worst interior detail I have ever seen!! But the quality of the body is very good!
