85 eldorado spindle nut

AHH, I found a Caddy site!

What size socket will fit the spindel nut on an 85 Eldorado? I need to check the front bearings because I'm getting a roaring noise at speed. I can't use anything except a socket because I need to have the wheels on to turn the nut it's so tight. I tried a 35mm but it's too small and the largest I can get locally. Craftsmen makes a 36mm, is that the size I need? If so I need to order it.

Thanks!!
