Next Project.....1968 Z28 Camaro RS

This is the new project thats been underway for a few weeks and have finally got around to making a thread !!.
This is one car i've always wanted to own so i'm having fun building it.
So far the engine has been built and wired. Painted in Orange and different shades of silvers used to highlight different parts of the engine. No real drama's with building it. Just needs a small amount of sanding and removing of seem lines before painting. I thought the headers are excellent. Nice fit and look quite smart when fitted.
Underneath has just been painted in black. Hopefully get a pic when batts charge up on camera.
Interior will be next to paint. Will be a mix of semi and flat black to keep the 60's stock look.
Haven't pick out a colour yet. Thinking along the lines of either Red/Blue/Yellow. Although i'm keen on white with black stripes as it was similar to one i have seen and liked.
Anyway, here's a couple of pics so far and progress will follow at later dates.

Looks great!! But it`s a `69. I think your idea for white with black stripes would be nice, and would match one that a freind of fine had. Are going to us the RS grille with the hideaway headlights?
Can`t wait to see it finished!

Hehe, didn't want to call you on that, title of the first post still owns you though

Those wheels will want a black wash to bring out some of the detail, but you probably had that planned.

Looking forward to seeing more of this one Warren

I was trying to post a reply to this about 2 hours ago but AF was busy then stuffing up, anyway.

It looks awesome so far, I say go yellow with black stripes or white with no stripes. I was hoping you'd do a musclecar next

I sugguest use the copo camaro grille that comes with the kit. For color go with a dull yellow or Ermine White with Hugger Orange stripes, or Tuxedo Black with Ermine White

Me neither, there's something about it. Oh yeah, you should paint the rims your desired color (silver, black, etc.) , and leave the chrome lip and cover. Then top it off with a nice blackwash. Anyways, I'm looking foward to seeing this car, as you do have a fast pace in building.

Is this the Revell kit that has the car painted in orange with white stripes on the front? I was dissapointed with this kit, it looked like a re-boxed AMT, IMO.

Nice, another muscle car. I say go with white with black stripes, or blue with white stripes.
