93 camaro trans shudder at 4th

my 93 z has started shuttering when it starts to go in fourth.
Mechanic put lube gear in and said drive it. Any other ideas what it could be?
Car has 89000 miles

Trans is on its way out, I had the same problem, started with 4th ad the rest went in order. 3-2-1. I had mine rebuilt and beefed up.
