Bad turn signal switch?

Hi, I have an 04 hatchback and the Daytime running lights stopped working. When i turn the headlights on the drl indicator flashes for a quick second. Occasionaly they will work fine when i start the car but for the most part they never work. My clock also flashes and gets bright, as if im turning the headlights on and off dimming the clock.. it keeps the time but just flashes and gets bright. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Bad turn signal switch?

Your problem is indicative of a bad ground souirce for the battery. Clean up the grouind and your problem will cease to happen. Clean up the connections for the DRL under the dash.
