cherokee fuse# 11

I have a 2000 jeep cherokee sport. The # 11 fuse pops. I believe that is the fuel pump. When this happens, I unpluged the fuel pump harness & the fuse still pops as soon as I turn the key on to start. I have been all over the harnesses & found nothing. Once it starts, it can idle or run afor different time spans. Any ideas or gremlins I should look for??

Try unplugging the wires use a DVOM and ohm between a ground and one end of the wire.
Sometimes you have to remove the loom and visually inspect the wire.
