'85 Mustang LX HO coil wiring

I'm having trouble hooking up the ignition coil to the car. The coil has a single blue/red wire which I imagined would be for ignition. The other side has two green/yellow wires off of one connector. I thought those two would go to the ignition module on the distributor, but theres no place to hook it up. There's no pre-exisiting plugs for it or any other wiring running to the spot where the coil bolts on. I have the wiring diagrams, but none of the colors according to the book match up to the car.

I cannot find where to hook the fuel pump to either, there's three wires hanging from the harness and there's a red one for the fuel pump. The other wires I have no idea and I can't find a place where any of them hooks up to. I'd greatly appreciate any help, thanks.

Re: '85 Mustang LX HO coil wiring

Was this hooked up before and you are just re-hooking it up? It kind of sounds like you're putting this car back together from not being previously hooked up. You need a wiring diagram for your particular vehicle. Electrical stuff can be a real PITA. Maybe you need to find someone with a similar vehicle to see how it's hooked up.

If you did take it apart, it's a good reason why you should label the various wiring connections. There are just so many these days.

Good luck....
