99 Neon sohc wont start
im looking for a little help from everyone i got a 99 dodge neon sohc that im having trouble getting it started. the waterpump froze and resulted in two bent valves and the tbelt breaking. got all the work done and put it all back together and its not starting. im getting no spark out of any cylinders, all sensors are plugged in and i tested the coil pack and i have one constant power, one switching ground and the other is a constant ground. isnt it supposed to have two switching grounds rather then that? what would result in this problem? and how should that be tested? thanks

Make sure your timing is correct. And even if you "think" it is....DOUBLE CHECK IT AGAIN!

Re: 99 Neon sohc wont start
ya i triple checked it and its good upon further review of the car though found out it was due to excessive end play, i can move the cam in and out about a half of an inch or so very noticeable any suggestion on that?
