Trailer Hitch Install videos...

.

I'm currently doing my own "trailer hitch & wiring" self install research and came across some good info. Great Video Install info that might apply to your van - if you plan to install a future hitch system as well.

For cool videos, surf:
- http://www.etrailer.com/tv-wiring_in...nder_2006.aspx

Note: The above like contains steps for "passive" T-Connector wiring install. If also installing Electric Brake Controller(for large utility trailers with their own electric brakes and larger turn signal lights), my local RV dealer recommends installing an "active" T-Connector instead. Very simular T-Connector wiring and same tail light connections except an "active" T-Connector has an "+" wire going into its inline special box. Thus, a HD Turn Signal module upgrade (under the van's dash) is NOT needed. This special "active" special box is installed in van's rear area and is better then HD turn signal upgrade (so I've been told).. For "small" utility trailer towing, the above "passive" T-Connector (as shown in above video) is ok to use.

Hope this helps others...
