93 saturn serious fuel system problem

I have a 93 saturn with the 1.9L DOHC Automatic Trans. When i got the car I was driving it home and it suddenly died. I checked for spark at both the coils and plugs and had spark at both. While I had the plugs out and was turning the car over, fuel started spraying out of all the cylinders. I looked down the plug holes and saw fuel standing in the cylinders and there is gas in my oil. I replaced the coolant temp sensor (as I have heard this is a common problem), that did not fix it. I am able to get the car started after taking the injector fuse out, runs very rough but the instant i put the fuse back in it will die right away. Blows White smoke out the exhaust. The service engine light comes on but when i try to read the code with my reader and by jumping the connector, It shows no codes. Any Ideas what could be causing this would be really appreciated. I am staring to go crazy over this car

Your car has two ECTS, be sure to replace the one with the 2-wire connector. Also, I do not understand how your car runs with the injectors off? That makes no sense to me

Re: 93 saturn serious fuel system problem

I changed the two wire coolant temp sensor so it is the right one as for it running without the ionjector fuse the only thing I can think of is that the fuel pressure is too high for the injectors to hold back and it allows them to "drip" fuel in to the cylinders and keep the car running it does not run smooth and if you touch the gas it will die. It makes no scense to me either PLEASE HELP ME!

Re: 93 saturn serious fuel system problem

Theres a shrader valve located on the fuel rail (right side). This is supposed to be under 40PSI with the key in the RUN position. If you press the shader valve in, fuel should squirt out. Unless you have a gauge your going to have to estimate if its above or below. If its above, your fuel regulator may be bad. IIRC a new fuel rail would be needed.
