Purchasing an extended warranty
Recently we bought a (sept) 2000 528i with approx 17K miles. Since I plan to drive it about 500 miles a day, I'm looking into buying extended (1) maintenance and (2) extended warranties (5 yrs/ 100K miles). After calling 3 different dealership in the Bay Area/ Northern CA, I've noticed a price range from 1900-3100 for warranties with $100-200 deductibles. Can someone provide me a sanity check on these quotes? Even better if you can recommend fair priced extended warranty dealership near San Francisco! Thanks in advance
