TJ Tranny
Hey guys I have a 97 TJ with a 2.5L and a A999 automatic tranny. I got it from a friend for free because he said the tranny was shot. I pulled a TCC malfunction code from it and it was leaking real bad. I got a seal, friction plate, and bushing kit for it but when I pulled the tranny it was full of metal. I can get a AX-15 for free. Would it be easier to rebuild the A999 or do a swap and put a AX-15 in it. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
