2000 Grand Prix Periodic Shudder In Idle

I have a 2000 GP with 125k miles that will periodically shudder while I'm stopped at a stoplight. No performance problems seen. Shuddering is seen while in gear or in park (automatic transmission). A friend of mine thought it might be the fuel injectors. I tried the additive to the fuel but that hasn't done anything noticeable. I don't have a way to check the codes but I haven't had any "check engine" instances. Would appreciate any pointers from readers on troubleshooting (the service manuals are a little unclear). Thanks.

Re: 2000 Grand Prix Periodic Shudder In Idle

Lets start simple, how long has it been since the plugs, wires, fuel filter and PCV valve were changed?
