2005 Mustang Concept.

the 2005 mustang concept!

The new concept is a supercharged and intercooled 4.6L 281ci V-8 with 400 horsepower and 390 ft-lbs of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual (or a 5-speed auto), and the gear ratio is 3.55:1. The overall length of the car is 182 inches, the width is 74.7 inches, and the height is 50.8 inches. For comparison's sake, the current Mustang is 183.2 inches long, 73.1 inches wide, 53.1 inches tall for the coupe, and 53.2 inches tall for the convertible. The concept model has sequential turn signals and integrated wind guards in the convertible's roll bar.
all I have to say is gorgeous.......

Kinda looks like a Bently Arange or Aston Martin. I think it looks pretty nice. Too opulent looking for a stang though.

it looks alright to me but i don't care for the current trend of american car companies. taking classic cars and trying to make them current and more stylish instead of doing something COMPLETELY new. i'm sure that at their current rate they will (or have) experimented with every classic

i'm sure my wife would drive it

I, someone who isnt the biggest fan of mustangs, actually like this car. Not so much the body of it, which really could have been designed with a little bit more style and badass look to it, but the engine with its supercharged intercooled 4.6L, is bad as hell. 400HP is more then some trucks out there and is more than the WS6 by pontiac(which is going bye bye ). right now if you want more horsepower youre better off getting a cobra than a GT, now you can get a GT and be done with it.

The picture of the engine looks like a great cut and paste job. Plus some good computer graphics.

damn...i usually hate mustangs...but 400hp, u can't argue with that. those are some impressive numbers, and i could stand that look a lot more than the way they look now. nice car

still a Mustang...

Sorry but I had to say it.

Its ok, the styling is fresh and new so it'll take a bit for me to warm up to it... that is if they put it into production. I doubt the standard GT's will come Supercharged though. Concepts are always outrageously over done.

the supercharged version will obviously get the cobra badge----but the Dew chassis its going on----will make a monster difference in what can be done suspension wise ojn the Gts & cobras. Won't be same ole mustang after all.

I'm loving it! Lookwise anyways! Never been a fan of the "small" v8, but the supercharger is supposed to make up for that I guess. Read sig for my thoughts on that But anyways, love the new look. 2005 needs to get here so I can get one....No, wait, I'm getting a 2005 Vette instead!

Tis ok.

I was expecting something a little more aggressive.

A little bit of old school styling, with today's power.
