My daughter just bought a '97 sunfire, it did not come with a manual so I have a question about the tail lights. Are they supposed to come on when the car is in gear? The headlights do as soon as she puts in it gear, the tail lights don't. Is that normal or something we need to look into? I do know it has a couple of lighting problems, only one back up light works and it also comes on when you put on the brakes, I do know that isn't normal.
Thanks for any help you might have, Nancy |

Re: Tail lights
Sounds like the DRLs from what I remember, the tails don't come on automatically. Don't have the fine manual with me at the moment. I'll post again if it's different.
BTW: The Sunfire we had ('04) was totalled by my youngest but I still have the owner's manual at home!
