Finished: Nissan Skyline R32 GTR HKS Kansai
I'm just putting the last finishing touches onto this one & I will have pics up in about 7 days....Also I will post some pics of my Nissan Silvia S14 Veilside which I have also finished.
Next up are Toyota Tarago Zeus, Mazda FC RX7 & 1994 Chevy Impala SS Lowrider rollin on 20s up front and 21s out back! The R32 GTR HKS Kansai is white with a black bonnet, carbonfibre wing & black and grey interior. Veilside S14 is metallic black with black and purple interior, GT wing & different Veilside rims. Plans for the Tarago so far is Gunmetal grey exterior & it already has a metallic red interior, i'm not doing it to the full version of the Zeus but I will have some of the large carbonfibre decals on it. Plans for the Mazda are, Gunmetal grey exterior with black, grey & white interior with rims etc. The Impala Lowrider is metallic black with black and tan interior, but I ran out of paint while putting on a finishing coat So Igotta go buy a whole new tin!!After these its a little break and then straight into 10 models + all the ones I buy at christmas! Boy oh boy am I going to be busy! All I have to say is look out for my '32 Chopped Ford Coupe and '63 6 second Chevy Corvette Stingray! :finger: |

Cant wait to see the two nissans, particularly the S14!!
Was it a good kit? Have you any tips that might be helpfull as that is one I am working on at the moment, although it will only be about 30% kit based. Again, CAN'T WAIT!!!

For me not many Fujimi kits are "good". But this one in particular is quite good, it could benefit from engine detail though. Its a very quick kit to build and mine came out pretty good, paint is a bit dull but I don't polish my kits, I rarely modify them either. Chopping my 32 Coupe and building this 63 Vette will be my first real attempts at modifying. The only advice I can give you is to not use any setting solution on the decals, my Veilside stripe on the bonnet fogged up a little bit, aswell as my side stripes. Also be careful with the decals, they are quite britle, I had a small triangle shape break off my bonnet stripe. Does anyone know if a wood or floor polish would work on a model? What about floor wax?
