OOPS!!! HELP..Security & Battery Light flashing, guages not working!!!

OOPS!!! Last night while sitting at a drive through I got annoyed by what I thought was feedback from my onstar mic....I tried to cut the wire but only managed to cut slightly into it and all of a sudden my car got pissed at me. the door chime started going (it never did before) the security light started flashing, it would flash a few times and then the battery light would flash then back to the security light a few times. Then (still thinking I had messed with the Onstar mic) I popped out the onstar console and unplugged it hoping that would help. Now my speedo/tach/fuel guages don't work (everything but oil pressure is non-functional now) the back lights to light the dash are on....just no guages. Now the Battery light stays on (even though the battery is fine and the car starts and runs just fine (so far) I checked to see if possibly i blew a fuse cutting into the climate control sensor fan (yes, now I know what it was) but i didn't see any.

PLEASE!!!! HELP!!!!!! what did I do???????runaround
