How to put in a used engine

Alright I have a 1.0L 1995 Geo Metro with 185,000 miles and it has a blown head gasket. I dont really know if i should put a used one in there with lower miles or just get a new head gasket. I need the car to last me for a long time.

Is it easy to put in a used engine?

If you have never did a engine swap, it's gonna take you a full day or 2. These engine are not hard to swap out. With a 185,000 miles and you want it to last a long time.....You either need to do a full rebuild on your current engine or swap in a low mile JDM engine in the car......The JDM engine will probably be a little bit cheaper in price. Read this entire thread (Both pages) on doing a rebuild or swap?
