Radio died
Hey, I have a 1995 grand prix. The radio was dead when I got in the car this morning. The car is competley stock, and I checked all the hook ups. Also tried it in my buddies radio-less beater-mobile to no avail.
Could I get some suggestions on a decently priced radio? Preferably one with an input so I can hook my dinky little sansa express (mp3 player) into it and listen to music. Would like it to be a little on the cheaper side too please, just repaired the sunroof .thanks alot *sorry if this threads in the wrong place, wasn't totally sure where to put it. Re: Radio died
If you're looking for an aftermarket radio, you get what you pay for. The things to look for is an FM sensitivity of 9.0 or lower (lower is better) and a CD player signal to noise ratio of over 100dB (higher is better). Kenwood's eXcelon and Pioneer's Super Tuner-D are two of the better units out there and aren't rediculously expensive (the lower end models anyway).
