some questions about mods, and a little direction.

My car is basically stock atm. Its a 1990 4dr LX civic. All that has really been changed at this point is the stereo/subwoofers and a cold air intake.

There are lots of other mods I would like to do, but have been run up one dead end after another when it comes to finding nice aftermarket parts for a civic as old as mine.

Could any of you possibly post a few suggestions to where (if even possible) I could track down the following things for my car.

1. White face custom guages.

2. Nice looking custom tail light kits (not crazy alteza looking ones) but tastful mod types.

3. Body kits. I know wings west makes one, and it looks fairly decent. However, since searching the net the WW model is really the only one Ive found. Are there any others you know of?

4. Dash kits/inserts. There is a huge variety of dash kits for newer civics dealing in everything from custom acrylic colors to carbon fiber deals. What is available, however, for the 4th gen 4-doors?

Ok now for some opinions:

I know some of you have done swaps with other models of honda/acura interiors to give your 4th gen civics a little more pizazz . What will fit my car as far as adding some sort of center console that will not only accomodate the manual shifter, but may also add some nice features such as cup holders/storage compartments?

My goal at the moment is to just work with the stock motor, give it a few upgrades, and then move on to some general asthetic improvements to make the car stand out a little more. Just some general advice for someone just getting started in the 4th gen scene if you can as to where I should start?

The only one I can answer is the center console. A 94-01 Integra Center Console will fit with little modifications and wil give you cup holders and an arm rest with storage.

they really don't make any tails for the 4 door. the best i have seen were clear tails that were paint half red. but i think clears are really hard to get a hold of anymore

i know you really aren't looking for performance. however, i highly recomend converting to MPFI. that will get you really close to the HP of an EX.
