types of racing
Hey everyone. I'm 15 right now and just getting into cars and am new to these forums(taking drivers ed, can't wait tell i can drive).
I was looking at different cars, and was interested in eventually racing cars. I looked at the different types of racing and was confused with what they are, and teh differences. Of course I know what the big names are like NASCAR, but a breif description of each one would be great and much appreciated. I was paticularly interested in the type of racing in the followiong videos, so extra stuff on that would be nice as well: http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos/03...ese-Racing.htm and http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos/05...ota-Battle.htm Thanks! Re: types of racing
sounds like you are interested in circuit racing.
thats about all i can tell for the time being out of those videos. look up auto-x in your city, and attend one. it'll be free to watch. its the closest thing to circuit racing that you can do w/o shelling out a bunch of money for track time, or doing it on the streets. this is a quick vid from you tube. its from my hometown, but the instructor tells some pointers and things in the video. also gives you an idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1R6Vkg9Ylc4
