Bad Wheel Sensor=No cruise control?
I just had the front left wheel sensor replaced and now the right sensor is also giving no signal, i also am not able to use my cruise control, i was wondering if there is some sort of safety that wont allow you to use the cruise if the Service Vehicle/Trac off/Anti-lock lights are on or if i have another issue, as the light on the on/off switch for the cruise does work but im not able to set the cruise at all

Re: Bad Wheel Sensor=No cruise control?
what year and model? in my 2000 alero 3.4 i didnt have this problem when my sensors weren't working, so this might be something else, or a saftey feature in the "newer" alero's

Re: Bad Wheel Sensor=No cruise control?
Is the Mil light the Service Vehicle Soon (SVS) or SES/CEL light. Actually certain ABS/traction control system, body control, and emissions codes will inhibit cruise control operation so it may be related. I had an airbag fault light one time which was corrected but it caused the cruise not to work.
