|
intrument cluster help
i recently bought a 95 jetta gl and the speedo and rpm gauge dont work so i went to a junk yard and got one that does but the mileage is diffrent does anyone know how to remove the odometer from the old cluster to put it in the new one

You have to take the back part off the cluster and carefully remove the needles and guage face. Then the odo unbolts off. have to be careful with the needles because they break easily and have to pre-tension the needle or the speedo and tach will not be accurate.
