transmission band adjustment
I'm getting ready to do a fluid and filter change on a 4T60-E tranny and wonder if there is a way to drain more fluid from the TC or VB. Also are there any band adjustments I can make once the pan is off? I don't see any threads on these subjects by searching. Great site!

Re: transmission band adjustment
No band adjustment here. You could do a flush yourself by running the fluid out with a trans cooler line off the radiator and pouring fresh oil in as it pumps it out. Can be messy though.

Re: transmission band adjustment
Thanks Max. You're right, did it today and there are no adjustments to do. Also, just drained and refilled, 6 qts., there wouldn't be much more fluid changed out doing the whole flush anyway.
