Z24 Motor Not Mounting To Motor Mounts Same Type Engine As Previous
We Just Pulled The Motor Out Of Our 86.5 Hardbody Nissan. We Tried Mounting The Rebuilt Motor We Ordered And It Is Off By About A Quarter Of An Inch When It Comes To Mounting It On The Bolts. We Measured The Actual Width Of The Motor And It Appears To Ba About That Much Wider! Its Strange But Does Anyone Have Any Tips Before We Go At It Again Tomorrow?

I find it easier to loosely attach the mounts to the block, and insert the mount-to-frame bolts once everything is in place.

Re: Z24 Motor Not Mounting To Motor Mounts Same Type Engine As Previous
That makes sence, and we are going to try but had to take the day off from it today. (by the way I mistakingly stated that the new motor is slightly wider, they are the same)
