wheel bearing problem - help!!!
I had the front wheel bearing replaced about 300 miles ago and it sounds like it has gone out again. Whats up with that? How do I figure out why it went bad again.

Quote:
1. Inner & outer bearings were not properly packed. This alone can cause premature failure fairly quickly. 2. Old bearing races were used causing the new bearings not to seat properly. 3. The old spacers were used and the installer did not measure to see if a thinner outer bearing retainer washer was needed. mark |
