new turbo/intercooler setup

i got a new t3/t4 50 63 57 trim turbo , a 27" x 5" x 3" intercooler, and all the piping for it + a mbc and a hks style bov and for $325 plus $100 for shipping. so $425 i sold my rebult ported, cliped, and polished 20g turbo for $415 sound like a good deal ???

thanks for your time please tell me what you think. alsoat what boost do you thing the 57 trim t3/t4 turbo will make simelar power that the stock turbo made at 20psi?

Please read the rules and post in the correct subforums.

I think you got a bad deal. Buying shit cheap like that off eBay will just lead to breaking and malfunctioning. Sure it was cheap and may work right off the bat but trust me homie, where the IC and piping should be ok, the BOV will start leakin if its not already and the turbo wont last long either.

I thought it was a HKS style bov? You'll be lucky the turbo holds together for 250 miles and that the intercooler doesn't blow apart with more than 15psi in it. What brand is that turbo? Looks like a POS no-namer to me.

Well, a true 20g turbo costs around $900. I was looking at that turbo on ebay the other day. I was reading on dsmtuners about somone who had pretty good sucess with that turbo. It's amazing how inexpensive those turbos are.

I have never seen a compressor map for that turbo, but with a .63 hotside, I can't emagine it will flow much more then your old 20g...
