idle problem
so when i start the car in the morining the idle is about 1300rpm, then slowly comes down to around 850 rpm. the problem is, after driving for long orsomething even sort periods of time, the car will idle at around 1000rpm. what I dont get is, the car can idle all day at around 850rpm with no problem. is it the tps? im not to sure because the car is fine prier to driving. thanks

Have you adjusted the throttle cable? It sounds like it may be a tad too tight and takes awhile for it to "settle" into place at a regular idle. I'd check that first.

It's either that or the IAC. Pull that and clean out the throttle body and IAC.
