help me for a sec..clear shit up for a friend
ok i need to have ur facts so i can clear something up quick for a friend b4 he makes a mistake and buys suttin that wont work right uh ways neway..my friend got a 92 civic dx 5spd..he is intrested in a 93 LS motor his one uneducated friend is selling him..ok fine theres no issues with obd1..the issue is the tranny being cable..his 92 civic is hydro..im just trying to findout if this will cause a problem..after replies i will show him this link so he knows

Ive heard of a hydro to cable set up but never really seen one.

Hasport sells a kit to do it, but it's not a simple bolt in thing.

There is one advantage to the cable tranny however, the fact that it's cable. The driver has more of a firm peddle, more control, and it's a simpler system (less shit to go wrong).

be better off swapping the cable tranny for a hydro, or just getting a diff motor
