Question running issues

does anyone know in a 95 eclipse non turbo gs 5-speed why when its judt driving down the hyway it cuts off and has no throttle resopnce like the engine dies for a few moments then comes back like nothing happend?

could be lots of things...

ignition, bad gas, need of a tuneup, ecu... need more detail...

Not enough info in here to even make a good guess. You should be getting a CEL from this so go and have the codes read then you should be able to fix the problem. Other than that how long has it been since regular maintenance was done?

i change the plugs every 6 months, change the oil every 1500 miles, flush the cooling system every 6 months, and run shell's good stuff in it the car will act up after 20 or30 miles on the hyway and will repeat randomly while driving between 55 and 85

the light is on but it has been on because it has a vacume leak its very small and hard to get to so i left it alone so with out a code reader i dont know that the new issue is putting one out

Go to advanceauto and get the codes read on that check engine light. Then fix the vac. leak and see if anything new comes up.
