02 Rodeo V6 spark plugs
Our owners manual specifies 3 or 4 different spark plugs that can be used for replacement and while I don't have it in front of me I am pretty certain that one is a champion RC10PYP4 which prompts this post. I have read in Isuzu forums that the ONLY spark plug that can be used without causing a CEL is a Denso or NGK. Is this really the case?

Re: 02 Rodeo V6 spark plugs
Pull one of yours to check. My 2002 3.2L came from the factory with denso. Ryan's link has the exact denso part number. Good mailorder source for them is sparkplugs.com

Re: 02 Rodeo V6 spark plugs
Personally I would go with the densos, they've always been my first choice. I've had no luck with champions and will never buy them.
Since yours has the ION sensing ignition system its important to only use one of the factory recommended plugs.

Re: 02 Rodeo V6 spark plugs
My '01 had the champion plugs in it. Bought a new set of Denso's from sparkplugs.com since my local parts place, which carries denso, said they couldn't get them
