Cool Ducati Desmosedici 2003 in 1:24

Hi,

here you see the finished model from Heller:

Built out of the box, wiring of the brakes and at the steering bar is added, the windscreen is replaced by a piece of clear sheet. Marlboro-decals are from Tabu, but they are produced for an Ixo Diecast. Tires are not sanded to look brandnew.

Here you find some fotos during building: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...13#post4392613

The scale didnt really click in untill I saw the matchstick for comparison. Nice work on such a small model. I dont think I have ever seen a bike in this scale before. Great job as usual, Micha!

Hi Julian,

usually I use 2-k-clear.

Like always I airbrushed Tamiya clear out of the little glas and covered the parts to protect the decals.

After 2 days I covered the parts with Tamiya clear out of the can (TS-13). This time the decals were attacked through the formerly attached clear in some areas .

Therefore I lost some motivation to do a wild polishing job
