Valet parking ruined convertible top – where do I get parts?

I have a 2002 325ci with a manual convertible top. Yesterday I was a guest at a very high-end country club which had only valet parking. I pulled up with my top down. After removing my clubs from the trunk I went back in to put the top up, but the valet told me he would take care of it. I made sure I told him it was a manual top. While on the practice range two valets came to me to ask how to put the top up. I again told the valets that it was a manual top and that once you hit the hatch release button that you manually pull the top up. They were “old-timers” and they said that now they know it was manual that they’d have no problem putting it up. After a great round of golf and a wonderful dinner, the car was brought to me with the top up. I didn’t notice anything was wrong until I went to put the top back down this afternoon. It seems that they pried the hatch open and in the process permanently bent and even broke the plastic covers on each side of the car. Fortunately only the platic covers to the side of each head-rest are ruined and the back hatch is fine.

Where can I go find these parts? Should I only go to a BMW dealer to get this damage repaired? What type of expense am I looking at?

I will of course try to get the work covered by the country club, but if they refuse to pay then I will want to use the most cost effective option possible.

Thank you!

Try this web site and dealer in SOCAL. It looks like you will be needing the plastic parts.

Let me know if this helps
