Hello, yesterday i install my brand new fuel pressure modifier, and it allows pressure adjustments from 25 to 60 psi, and i want to know how many PSI do i have to adjust to daily use and for a RACE.

doesn't the instructions come with a formula on how much fuel pressure to raise depending on what mods you have from stock. for example, if you have intake header exhaust you'd probably raise your fuel pressure 6-7 psi for a 4 cyl engine. it depends how much air flow you have increased to your engine. just ask the co. you bought the fuel pressure regulator from and they will figure it out for you.

The plugs will have the final say, on where the fuel pressure will end up at. Pick-up some Anti-Seize and put it on the plugs (if you have not already). That way you can pull them, while the engine/head is still hot. Without worrying about pulling the threads out of the head, along with the plug(s). Also, try not to let it idle, that will start cleaning the plugs, and giving you semi false reading...
In most cases, the MAP sensor "should" see more air is passing through the intake. It then will tell the ECU to adjust the injector pulse width accordingly. Sooo, trying raise the fuel pressure is really not necessary. The ECU has the fuel, timing, ect... maps/tables, and the MAP, PA, IAT sensors. To figure out the best injector pulse width. To send out at any given engine load, and weather condition.... "Noth'in like Induction..."

Stock Pressure is 35lbs bumping it up to 45 is fine for daily driving or race! Now if your going to run N2O ever..... bump it up to like 55lbs or even 60lbs depending on the shot!

if i have a stock b16a motor with intake/header/exhaust and i just add the aem fuel pressure regulator and bump up the psi say 10 or 15 would that even produce more power ????
