I've never seen it in one, but it was a "dealer installed" option. Did they put it in the base and LS models? BTW, Corndog Man, do you have an LTZ also? if so, what year, color, engine, etc.

Yes,

Bought it new. I just gave it to my daughter. It's black, leather, sunroof, 3.8, 4 wheel disks. I think it has everything on it you canget except an 10 CD changer and Onstar. It's stone cold stock.

I have been rying to add XM to the thing and retain the crrent AM/FM and CD with the controls on the wheel like my '04 Avalanche.

I know you can buy XM where it runs through FM but I would rather use the factory radio and somehow hook in.

Sun roof broke a small plastic part. I am going to replace soon with a rebuilt unit from the sunroof doctor. Will keep you posted.

Well... Let me wash it and paint the drivers mirror and I will take a few. It's bone stock. You should have seen my 86 Silverado before it was stolen. The bastards that stole it got the cleanest, most unmoleted 86 Silverado ever. Never wrecked.

Corndog, I've put a couple of those kits in.

There are wire loops built into the car harness that the system gets connected to, for battery power, ground, ignition power, the power locks, and so on.

It's a pretty slick install.

Thanks Gumby!

It reads like plug and play so that's good. Where do you get the Onstar equipment? Junk yard, the dealer? Is there something specific to a 1999 Lumina?

Thanks!
