I was recently talking to my brother's friend and I bought up the fact that my TPS sensor is bad. He then told me that a bad TPS can damage your engine and I need to change it ASAP, which I am in the process of changing and haven't driven back since last week. I bought my prelude 2 months ago and have only driven literally no more than 5 times for a distance of 2 blocks. When the car wasn't being driven I would occasionally start it up and let it run for no more than 4-5 minutes. The engine seems healthy and everything, no smoking or anything like that. My question is do you think from the seldom times I've started and driven it, do you think that the engine has acquired any damages? I really appreciate any help and thank you for your time.

Re: Very worried...Need advice please...
Just don't start it up and start redlining it. You should definately let it warm up at least for just a minute. I never move my car untill the temp goes up to 1 bar. It just makes it that much easier on ur engine.
